Taken from Robot Koch‘s upcoming album “Hypermoment”. Album out November 6, Monkeytown Records.
Le Goff’s work focuses on a strong interaction between sound and images, using traditional video techniques as well as stop motion, light painting animation, 3D, VFX or generative coding.
For the release of Robot Koch‘s new album, he created a hypnotic and organic world of visuals traveling from space to small crystals formation. Creating the images for “Care”, small droplets of ink were placed in a drop of oil in suspension.
When releasing in the water, the slowly evolving mixture of oil and colored ink created interesting organic structures. The process has been repeated with some inertia in the water and these structures started to somehow dance, fitting nicely with the music flow. All the images have been filmed with macro lenses and a glass of water.
