Theremin goddess Dorit Chrysler is dropping a stunning brand-new video for “The Swamp Behind My House” the closing track of her “Avalanche” EP. A deep and cinematic slice of electronic grace, which along with the rest of the EP, is sure to win over a new audience to Dorit´s immense charms that is accompanied by truly intense pictures and quivering colours here. Shot by Zack Richard feeling inspired by Dorit Chryslers work he approached her with this amazing short film right after it was shot.
Tripnotic was keeping the dancefloors and airwaves busy with his remixes in the last few years, but we haven’t heard an original song of his since the drum’n'bass excursion called Phantom. The wait is over, as he returns with Tricky Three, a song developing from the ideas used in his remix of Djaikovski’s smash Hell Of A Road. Tricky Three is a curious mixture of breaks aesthetics laid over a strong electro beat with some trademark Tripnotic glitchy interventions.
Enjoy the brand new video. It was produced by Noir Tribe Media in New York. The lead role in the video is played by the fabulous Kourtni Lind (of You Think You Can Dance fame), who is now a featured dancer in the Bono & The Edge scored Broadway musical Spider-Man.
The new song by Aurah “Above, Below, Beyond” featuring the breathtaking photography of
Norbert Span, winner of the Earth & Sky Photography Contest 2013.
You will see he’s fearless of climbing high mountains and camping in sub-zero temperatures in order to capture the nighttime sky in ways you’ve never seen it!
This song is also part of our new youtube playlist called Music In The Now where we aim to take you on an expanding and un-rushed mini vacation.
Enjoy and share it with fellow travelers!
After a four-year break from recording, Clara Hill returns with “Walk The Distance”, which takes her back to her early youth. The unselfconscious sound experiments that have always accompanied her are met here with new inspirations, leading to an album that sounds intimate and incredibly familiar, yet otherworldly.
Enjoy the new video “Lost Winter”. The video was filmed by Dominique Steiner and edited by Christian Schneider.
‘Confection’ is a surprise-album from the talented composer Sebastien Tellier, to be released on November 4th on Record Makers.
Apart from one song, ‘Confection’ is an entirely instrumental piece that Sebastien conceived like a motion picture score. Several romantic musical themes are showcased in different versions, orchestral or acoustic. Their sequence brings the listener on a succession of subtle climaxes, creating powerful emotions and leaving room for fantazised images.
Tony Allen, of Fela fame, on drums, Rob, keyboardist for Phoenix, Emmanuel d’Orlando on string arrangements and Philippe Zdar mixed the record. He is also responsible for mixing albums for Phoenix, Cat Power, Beastie Boys, or Kindness and part of Cassius.
‘Confection’ is an album as close as possible to Tellier’s soul, a testimony of his deep musical skills. ‘Confection’ is a love letter for a film that doesn’t exist yet.
“L’amour naissant” video is from Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
Enjoy the Sepalot’s new video “Naughty Boy”
Call his music hip hop with a sprinkle of electro or maybe electro with the soul of a hip hop DJ. His new album “Black Sky” is pure, undiluted, raw, dirty and hits you with the power of a bulldozer.
Trentemøller´s own imprint In My Room is revealing here: the video premiere of Dorit Chrysler´s atmospheric “Avalanche“. The Brooklyn-filmed video directed by Danish artist Jesper Just and award-winning music video director Martin de Thurah from Copenhagen is starring the theremin goddess Dorit Chrysler herself – crawling blindly through a loft in Brooklyn.
The video was filmed shortly after Hurricane Sandy swept through the streets of New York, hence it had a lot of influence on the feel of the video “We made the place dishevelled, as if in the wake of some kind of unknown catastrophe”. A journey through insomnia, this haunting video will leave you sleepless. Promise!
When listening to „These are evil times…“ you will hear Hellsongs sounding like the band always has, but you will also hear Hellsongs sounding like never before.
The video is directed and cut by Davor Radic in the heart of the cultural republic of Majorna, the HQ of Hellsongs. You probably get what the song is all about just by reading the title but we wanted to explore the public space and leave something behind while making the video.
Discussions about equality can often end up in what the colors on your kids clothes are, while we think that more interesting parameters are public transportation, using a bike instead of a car, public pools and how we use the public space in general. Equality is not only a question about gender, it also has a strong economical aspect. We are not trying to separate these two, quite the contrary.
The song is about what one wants to achieve, being the change, acting the change. Talk is cheap, action is golden. At the same time, it is a DIY-boot in the head of this overwhelming consumerism which is so dominant in these days. We are all ok just as we are, there is no need for a “new look for the fall”.

We are very happy to have the first single of Trentemøller´s upcoming artist album.
“Never Stop Running” is an empathetic, personal, evolving song that perfectly matches the warm vocals of The Drums singer Jonny Pierce.
Right in time with the single release Trentemøller reveals a brand-new video for “Never Stop Running”. The vibe of the song is perfectly captured in the music video by director and cinematographer Frederik Jacobi.
